Project Manager
Mirwais Amiri serves as the Project Manager for the Afghan Society of Civil Engineers (AfSCE). In this role, he is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing civil engineering projects from inception to completion. His expertise ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing to AfSCE’s mission of advancing civil engineering practices in Afghanistan.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Initiation:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Define project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Conduct risk assessments and establish mitigation strategies.
2. Execution and Monitoring:
Oversee the implementation of projects, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other team members.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
3. Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of funds and resources.
Track expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
Secure and manage materials, equipment, and personnel required for the project
4. Quality Assurance:
Ensure all projects meet the required technical and safety standards.
Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with design and quality specifications.
Address quality issues and implement corrective measures as needed.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
Ensure clear and transparent communication throughout the project.
6. Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate project teams to achieve common goals.
