Civil & Structural Engineer | Youth Leader | Development Professional
Fardin Ahmadzada is a Civil Engineer and development professional with multidisciplinary experience in structural engineering, construction site supervision, humanitarian program support, and youth leadership. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Salam University with a GPA of 3.2 and has demonstrated strong technical and leadership performance throughout his academic and professional journey.
He has worked as a Structural Engineer and Site Construction Controller at Aziz Bashardost Construction and Design Corporation, contributing to RCC building design, steel structures, and on-site quality control. Previously, he served as a Civil Engineer Intern at National Development Corporation, where he was involved in construction supervision, reporting, scheduling, safety monitoring, and quality assurance for infrastructure projects in Kabul.
In addition to his engineering experience, Fardin has contributed to large-scale humanitarian and development initiatives through his role at ALEF Technology – MOBYGROUP, supporting projects in collaboration with UNICEF. His responsibilities included beneficiary data verification, grievance redress mechanisms, survey data entry, and supporting accountability systems for cash assistance, WASH, construction, and emergency response programs.
Fardin is also actively engaged in professional and civic leadership. He serves as Head of the Capacity Building and Training Department and Board Member of the Afghan Society of Civil Engineers, where he leads national technical training initiatives and supports the professional growth of young engineers across Afghanistan. Additionally, he has served as Afghanistan Regional Coordinator for KECTIL Leadership and Development Organization, promoting youth empowerment, leadership development, and civic engagement.

In this capacity, he supported transparent communication, fair distribution of assistance, reporting mechanisms, and the resolution of community-level challenges. This experience deepened his understanding of governance accountability, social responsibility, and inclusive development practices.
Earlier in his volunteer journey, Fardin contributed as a Member and Research Officer with the Youth for Youth Platform, where he supported educational programs, coordinated online learning activities, and conducted research to enhance youth awareness and leadership skills across Afghanistan.
